ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Environmental responsibility

At ID®, our goal is to run our business in an environmentally responsible way by using environmentally friendly technologies and raw materials and offering products designed with the environment, events and you as our customer in mind.

TOGETHER FOR RESPONSIBLE OPERATIONS

We support environmentally friendly technologies, products and raw materials. In cooperation with our suppliers, we work to reduce the environmental impact of the textile industry. It is an ongoing process that we develop and refine year after year.

CLIMATE IMPACT

The full picture of our carbon footprint

In our climate reporting, we include Scopes 1, 2 and 3 to obtain a full and transparent picture of our carbon footprint – both within our own operations and across the entire value chain. This breakdown shows where emissions come from, helps set priorities for the most important actions and makes our progress visible. This enables us to work in a targeted way in the future to reduce our climate impact.

Scope 1 – Direct emissions

Scope 1 – Direct emissions

Covers direct emissions from the company's own sources (e.g. own vehicles and facilities).

Scope 2 – Energy

Scope 2 – Energy

Covers indirect emissions related to energy purchased by the company, such as electricity and heat.

Scope 3 – Other indirect emissions

Scope 3 – Other indirect emissions

Covers all other indirect emissions in the value chain, both from suppliers and from the use of the company's products.

LESS AIR, LESS PACKAGING

Smart packaging for the environment

In December 2019, we installed a new packing robot that reduces unnecessary “air" in shipments by automatically matching the packaging to the content and volume of the goods.

The robot takes laser measurements, adjusts the height of the cardboard box, closes the box and applies labels. The boxes are then stacked on pallets and the goods are shipped on to customers.

This technology supports more environmentally friendly and responsible logistics management.
