SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Every year we focus on improving working conditions – both socially and ethically. Our goal is to ensure that every employee is part of the ID® community – not only in Denmark, but also internationally. People create identity.

QUALITY AND RESPONSIBLE APPROACH – AT EVERY STAGE

We work consistently and with a focus on quality and responsibility. Together with our suppliers, we support environmentally friendly technologies, products and raw materials, with a clearly defined goal: reducing our impact on the environment in the textile industry. This allows us to stay ahead of requirements and customer expectations – never giving up our clear principle of honesty.

WE ACKNOWLEDGE OUR RESPONSIBILITY

We acknowledge our responsibility as a participant in the textile industry – which is why we place great emphasis on both our social and our environmental impact. More than 38 years of experience plays a significant role in the way we carry out our activities, both in our home market and abroad.

MADE BY PEOPLE – FOR PEOPLE

Transparency throughout the supply chain

When putting on clothes, it is easy to forget the people behind their creation. We focus on the entire process – from yarn to finished product – and on the hands that make it possible. Transparency matters to us, which is why we visit our factories and meet the employees – most recently at GMS in November 2024.

A common code of conduct for responsible sourcing and production outside the EU. It ensures proper working conditions, including the prohibition of child labour and forced labour, as well as an emphasis on environmental issues, safety and fair conditions.

Since 2006, our office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, employing eight local staff, has ensured daily dialogue with our factories. We have worked with some suppliers for more than 30 years – we believe in long-term, transparent partnerships.

EDUCATION FOR 40 CHILDREN – FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS

For more than 12 years, we have supported the Global Learning Project in Dhaka. Thanks to our annual donation, we provide schooling for 40 children in difficult circumstances (aged 6–14) throughout the year – a small contribution on our part, but a real change for them and their families.

Global Learning Project (GLP) is a non-profit organisation that provides access to education for children in difficult circumstances in Dhaka. GLP runs two schools and is funded by private donations. The support enables more children to attend school and build a better future.

We visit the school several times a year, and each visit is a powerful, uplifting experience. The smiles of the children and the joy we witness are clear evidence of how much this support means – not only to the children, but also to their entire families.
